Anastasia..again..

Before i knew anybetter i joined anastasia's web site and like everybody else i got swamped with messages from women..BUT when I joined I sent out 2 letters to ladies that had not sent messages and after 2 weeks i have heard back from one. I sent a reply and got another letter the next day..she seems great, but wants me to call her and of course with Anastasia thats big$$$$ I am kind of worried that its going to be just employee of Anastasia on the other end..what do you folks think ??
I am not looking for Anastasia bashers here, I am looking for sombody who maybe had the same experience with them.

thanks, Gord

no phone, scam

Best way I have check to see if I am being scammed is ask for her phone number.
If she wont send it to you, you are being scammed or tricked. Scam sites and scam women very rarely will let you have there phone numbers.

Shop wisely!

I've also signed up for Anastasia a few months ago on a whim. I received over 30 letters from women over the course of a few weeks before i ever sent one to any lady.(I still haven't opened most of them because that is an expensive inquiry) I opened a couple of the letters out of curiousity. I found that those letters that come intially are probative, at best. They are like template letters, that are there to draw your attention.

The site seems legit, but is an expensive way to poke around at really meeting someone. I have found moderate success in choosing a lady that you find interesting on the site and seeing what the response is.

Overall, I think that you have to be ready to put a lot of money into a relationship with this site. The best thing about them is that they do have the best selection I have seen in russian women.

Just a though!

It's a real agency.

Anastasiaweb is real, because I have spoken to the women who have given me their phone numbers so I could talk to them WITHOUT THE AGENCY, so no one got paid anything. And i have met them in real life. Some I liked, others felt I was not the right person, and so on.

I cannot say that any or most of them are legit, but I can definitely say that at least SOME are legit and really want a foreign husband.

Anastasia

I have used and observed Anastasia for over a year. My first contact went smoothly and I used their services for several emails and then a translated phone call. It resulted in getting her phone number and making a few calls using a local translator. Her interested and answers to questions did make me feel comfortable. My translator, a mid-aged business women from Moldova, had several conversations with her and did not feel comfortable in me continuing the relationship. I still view the site and have some interest. Locally I have made friends with 2 Russian brides and their husbands. I recently dated a Ukranian woman for a few months. I really liked her, but for the most part we were not compatible long term.

Anastasia

I got many replies from Anastasia, opened a few and noted seldom do they address you by name any more after the first line. It is obvious that they make their money by these intro's mainly. They give the impression at times that they share "emails". Well, for instance, sharing messages here is a good example of what they consider sharing emails. Sorry folks, if you don't pick up and receive direct correspondance from an individual's email with an @ symbol in it and not delivered by pop and smtp protocols, its not my definition of true email correspondance.

I wrote one woman I was potentially interested in and said I would no longer leave messages if she didn't provide her home address. Well, she provided it and a million reasons to keep corresponding through Anastasia.

Another one responded with specific details about a question of my 3 daughters. Well, I don't have children and never been married.

Some of the responses are nothing more than saved responses apparently to previously translated messages. Keep in mind that most or all messages go through interpreters. They control all content. To stay in business they do have to practice some legitimacy which isn't to say that most of the time, you're going to be more dissatisfied than satisfied and you'll spend a lot of money and get little value for it.

I spent enough money with them myself and personally tired of all the fiction sent to me.

Last piece of advice, make sure this woman you choose knows how to truly speak English.

My experience

I have been a member of anastasiaWeb for more than 1 year now and have really mixed feelings & experience towards that agency. I have not spent that much money yet, but still I guess it totals some $300 over the months.

My first experience was that I contacted a woman / girl and she responded in a polite why stating that she was not interested in me - so it seemed real or was it just a trap and it should have sounded realistic?

Immediately afterwards the avalanche started and I have received an uncounted number of mails from woman - I guess there are only a few in their database I have not been contacted by.

I wrote with some ladies more or less, but nothing seemed to go real deep. Some things always sounded strange:
Most women always asked the same questions over and over again. All letters do have about the same length, there hardly is a letter that is longer. Why does a woman not contact you twice? It's always the same system
your letter, her letter, your letter, her letter.... blablabla & so on... do they get paid for writing letters of having their letters kind of (ghost)written?

If you tell them about the bad experience with anastasiaweb - they ask you: what are the rumors you have heard about, what bad stories spread the internet

If you see their profile on another dating site and let them know about it - the response is always the same: I'd rather use this site here

Only one woman ever managed to get my riddle that is included in many of my letters. I divide my emailaddress & mobile phone nummber in there and she sent me a SMS on my mobile - unfortunately it was not meant to be - but it was on

Then I started a conversation with a lady that finally admitted after a few letters that she is only looking for some rich sugar daddy. I cancelled my membership afterwards, but had some credits left and re.opened my profile after some months.

Now I am writing to a woman that I am really interested in, she "promissed" to be real, but I have no sources to verify if she is really interested, if she is really writing.... there are too many bad stories & too many facts that sound suspiciously...

I may be posting some (personal) experience with other sites like behappy.com, single-russian-women.com, russianladies/globalladies.com, datemefree.org, natashaclub, fiance.com, dioritz.com, adrianaconnection.com, bride.ru & some other sites and how my profile suddenly spread around the internet.

Quite frigthening how many there are and even more if you count those figures then (:)

Sad but true

If you are looking for actual experiences with Anastsiaweb; here's mine.
Joined Early May 2007; have received nearly 400 letters as of June 26. Have found nearly all the letters I have read to be very formulaic. Always quite short but encouraging. Got a letter addressed to the wrong guy. Got another from lady who loved my brown hair & brown eyes (I'm blue-eyed, blonde). I specifically state in my profile that I hate dancing (as a test) and get dozens of letters from ladies who "love to dance". Same test with children (I don't want any) and I get many letters from ladies looking to start a family. Look at what it costs to send and receive censored letters and you do the math......
Some of the ladies seem very nice and beautiful, but I must say, sadly, that I don't believe 90% of them actually exist.

Hey,

Just like the others id like to create a team that will take down those sites like anesthesia . To take down those sites who do not belong to those sites, and to stop spamming hacking. And i can promise you that i can send my best creation of virus to destroy those site. But because i was been a victim my purpose now is to catch the mother f*cking hacker sites. If one day i know this guy, maybe he will not last a minute in this world before he saw me.

but maybe "Killing me softly is the best way to solve this :)

I would advise against it

I thinkk you should probably avoid hacking into these scam sites, it kind of doesn't make sense for you to involve yourself in that way, when you could actually make a difference by bringing a large enough group of men together with the same scam story so you can do a class action lawsuit or something, I would not attack their sites but I agree with your motives.

If you fall 2

If you fall 2 for one of these at best you will lose thousands of dollars; at worst you will lose your life. These usually start with an email from a bank official or the relative of a recently deceased African president or a government minister informing you that they have access to millions of dollars but need your help to get the money out of the country. The end result is that when the deal is threatened you will be asked for money to secure the release of the funds. Do not under any circumstances reply to these letters, people have been murdered while following up with these scams.PhishingPhishing scams can be very elaborate, scammers send out emails to millions of internet addresses purporting to be from a financial institution, and requiring you to log in and confirm your details. The email looks authentic and contains a link that you need to click.

not a dating scam

Yeah I have heard of that scam about transferring funds and whatnot, but does it have anything to do with online dating? Have you ever gotten that kind of email scam from a dating site?

I thought the topic was dating scams, but either way it helps to know about all the scams you can come across. There are too many these days to not know what to look out for.

I thinkk you should apparently abstain hacking into these betray sites, it affectionate of doesn't accomplish faculty for you to absorb yourself in that way, if you could in fact accomplish a aberration by bringing a ample abundant accumulation of men calm with the aforementioned betray adventure so you can do a chic activity accusation or something, I would not advance their sites but I accede with your motives.
